Can't wait for this one!! I missed going last year but I don't expect anything to get in my way this time! Looks like we will have a good Texas group-equal parts Houston and Dallas. I'm hoping to go in a day early and stay a day late. Room rates certainly help out there. I want to get down to the dam and see the exhibits there. My dad donated pictures he took hanging out the side of an airplane back in the 1940s. Last we heard they had not put his pictures up for display, but have archived all his negatives.
I am almost finished with my Photoshop class, yeah..and have bought my CS4 Extended student edition program. Now I just have to fix my Picasa database, Ugh.
I'm still waiting for the job fairy to drop by and tell me I have a job. Obviously, I'm not a very well disciplined person or I would be in "hog heaven" right now. No boss, no politics, all the time in the world to do what I wish...blah, blah, blah... Oh, I did manage to rearrange and clean up my scrap room. This is a major undertaking and I'm still not finished with it. I still have two dumping sites that need to be organized and integrated into the room and the wall deco put up permantently. When I get that done, I'll show pics.
I'll try to post more often here. In the meantime, I'm waiting for my stimulus money. I'll let you know when it arrives!!!
Sandy
So excited to be going to Vegas with you, Baby!! I'm planning to go Wednesday -- don't know about staying past Sunday. Will depend on the airfares... See you tomorrow at the crop!
ReplyDeleteHave a great time in Vegas - and I want to see your scrap room!
ReplyDeleteHave fun in Vegas!! Brent is waiting on the job fairy as well. He had an interview on Monday for one of two positions. Another buddy also interviewed. Neither could get a 'read' on how they did. We're starting to worry that they knew who they were going to hire before they even started and are "opening it up to all candidates" before they announce. Bleah. Maybe not. Next week will tell. My niece's bro-in-law just got laid off. So her hubby is a little happier with his job now. He worked out a way to share the load with another guy in a 7 on - 7 off way that relieves a lot of the pressure. Lily is smiling!! My job at UFA is stable, I'm appreciated and someday I'll have a normal schedule. It couldn't have come at a better time.
ReplyDeleteViva, Las Vegas, baby!! Can't wait to hear about the museum.
I can't wait to see you in Vegas, but let's hope we see each other sooner than that!
