Baby, it's COLD outside!!

The temp has made it all the way up to 28' at 10 am. It's not to get much higher and lower even tomorrow. This is unusual weather for southeast Texas, the last time it was this cold for a sustained period was 1989. Aaah, I remember it well...we had ice to go with it!! This will definitely make us appreciate those 100' days when June rolls around.
Hopefully, the wind will die down today and the "feels like" temp will go up a little. I ventured out yesterday to the gocery store and was amazed at the number of people who were running around without coats. Me? I had on my stadium coat, a knit cap and gloves. Course those are standard for me in that store all the time--they keep our grocery at freezer temps most of the time.
So for the moment, I'm enjoying the day all snuggled down in my toasty little house, a beef stew brewing in the crock pot, my work is done for the week and I can play in the paper!!
